A separate loan that covers your tuition month by month — €224.50/month from September 2026. Also open to EU students who don't qualify for full student finance.

Tuition loan for adults who no longer have regular student-finance rights — typically 30 to 56 — covering statutory or up to 5× institutional tuition.

Up to €129 per month towards your Dutch health insurance — most students qualify, because student finance doesn't count as income.

€330–540 per 30 days for studying or interning elsewhere in Europe, on top of your Dutch student finance — any nationality, as long as you're enrolled at a Dutch institution.
NL Scholarship
€5,000 one-time
A one-time €5,000 scholarship for non-EEA students starting their first full bachelor's or master's at a participating Dutch institution.

Your basic grant, supplementary grant and travel product start as a conditional 'performance grant' — they become a gift once you graduate within 10 years.
