Studentenreisproduct ·Administered by Dienst Uitvoering Onderwijs (DUO)

The studentenreisproduct is loaded onto your personal OV-chipkaart and gives free travel during the week or at the weekend, plus a discount outside your chosen window. It is part of the performance grant.

Who qualifies

Entitled to studiefinanciering (mbo bol — including minors — hbo or wo)
Younger than 30 when your student finance starts

How to apply

Activate it via Mijn DUO and load it at an OV-chipkaart machine or in the app. Not available retroactively — and stop it by the 1st of the month after your entitlement ends, or you pay €96.09 per half month.
