The Carte Avantage Jeune is the standard rail discount for students who travel between home and campus. For €49 a year it guarantees 30% off every TGV INOUI and Intercités ticket, in 2nd and 1st class, year-round — with 2nd-class fares capped at €49 for trips under 1h30, €69 up to 3h and €89 beyond. It also gives 25–50% off TER regional trains depending on the region, discounts to Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Spain and Luxembourg, −60% for up to three accompanying children aged 4–11, and 15% off onboard catering and baggage services.
Wer hat Anspruch
- Aged 12 to 27 (not yet 28 on the card's first day of validity)
- No student status required — any young person qualifies
- Valid one year from the start date you choose

Buy it online on SNCF Connect (or at a station), linked to your name and date of birth — the discount then applies automatically when you book while logged in.
