SNCF youth discount card (Carte Avantage Jeune)

The Carte Avantage Jeune is the standard rail discount for students who travel between home and campus. For €49 a year it guarantees 30% off every TGV INOUI and Intercités ticket, in 2nd and 1st class, year-round — with 2nd-class fares capped at €49 for trips under 1h30, €69 up to 3h and €89 beyond. It also gives 25–50% off TER regional trains depending on the region, discounts to Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Spain and Luxembourg, −60% for up to three accompanying children aged 4–11, and 15% off onboard catering and baggage services.
