Medrano domestic mobility grants (announced)
Becas Luisa de Medrano ·Géré par Ministerio de Educación, Formación Profesional y Deportes
Announced by the Government on 9 March 2026, the becas Luisa de Medrano revive national mobility funding scrapped with the Séneca grants in 2013. They pay €900 per month for nine months (€8,100 per year, with a supplement for moves involving non-peninsular territories) to degree students who win a place in the SICUE exchange system and move to a university in another province. The first call plans up to 2,300 grants with a budget of €18.8 million, for the 2026/27 academic year. Note: SICUE itself has run since 2000 without any attached national grant — this program changes that.

- Enrolled in an official degree (grado) with at least 60 credits passed — mobility from the second year onward
