The national railways carry Belgian students on two dedicated products: the Student Season Ticket (unlimited travel on the fixed home-school route for under-26s, per 1, 3 or 12 months, with the annual price set at ten monthly instalments) and the Student Multi (ten trips over 49 days on a fixed route, aimed at kot students). Both are priced by distance rather than a flat fee. The 15 October 2025 fare reform added a blanket 40% discount for everyone under 26 and the optional Train+ card — €4/month or €32/year for under-26s — which caps off-peak and weekend journeys at €5.50.

15 October 2025 reform: Youth Multi discontinued, replaced by a 40% under-26 base discount plus Train+; season tickets rose 2.6% on 1 February 2026 while fares over 120 km dropped about 16%.
