Erasmus+ mobility grant

Erasmus+ funds study and traineeship periods abroad for students enrolled at Portuguese institutions, of any nationality and at every level including doutoramento. Monthly rates for 2026/27 are €400–500 for studies and €550–650 for traineeships depending on the destination country group, with a €250/month top-up for students with fewer opportunities — including DGES bolsa holders. The grant is paid 70% upfront and 30% on return, and it stacks on top of the DGES bolsa.
