TEC 18-24 pass at €12 a year (Wallonia)

Since Wallonia introduced near-free travel for young adults, 18-24-year-olds ride the entire TEC bus network — Express lines included — on an annual pass of €12, against a standard adult Classic pass of €420 a year (Express: €710). The pass is purely age-based: no student status or certificate is needed, it just has to be loaded on a personal MOBIB card. The new fare grid of 1 February 2026 explicitly kept the €12 formula for 18-24s (and 65+), while 12-17-year-olds pay €150 a year for a Classic pass (€120 for large families).
