Study allowance — bourse d'études (French Community / FWB)

Allocation d'études (Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles) ·Gestionada por Direction des Allocations d'Études (Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles)

The allocations d'études are the bourses of the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles for secondary and higher education, awarded by the Direction des Allocations d'Études. The 2025-2026 amount varies between €90 and €6,000 — in higher education typically around €400 to €6,000 — depending on household income, dependents and whether you live in a kot (interne) or commute (externe); it is paid in a single bank transfer. Higher-education boursiers additionally pay no minerval at all, and a flat-rate allowance exists for sudden hardship such as separation, death or job loss in the household.
