Collaboration grants (becas de colaboración)

Becas de colaboración en departamentos universitarios ·Administered by Ministerio de Educación, Formación Profesional y Deportes

The becas de colaboración pay €2,000 to students who collaborate with a university department on research linked to their studies — around three hours a day for seven and a half months. For 2025/26 the Ministry convoked 2,431 grants (Resolución de 2 de junio de 2025). They are a classic first step into academia before applying for FPU or FPI contracts.

Who qualifies

  • Enrolled in 2025/26 in the final year of a degree (grado) or the first year of an official university master's
  • Minimum grade average by branch: 7.25 in Engineering/Architecture, 7.70 in Sciences and Social/Legal Sciences, 7.80 in Health Sciences, 8.00 in Arts and Humanities
  • A collaboration project endorsed by the university department

How to apply

Apply through the Ministry's electronic office (sede.educacion.gob.es). The 2025/26 window ran from 11 June to 16 September 2025.
