Erasmus+ mobility grant (from Belgian institutions)

Erasmus+ funds study periods of 2 to 12 months per cycle at partner universities abroad, tuition-free at the host institution. Belgian rates are set per community for 2025/26: Flemish institutions such as KU Leuven and Ghent University pay €419 per month for group-1 destinations and €369 for groups 2-3, while FWB institutions like UNamur pay €600 and €540 (€700 outside Europe). Students with fewer opportunities receive a €250 monthly top-up on either side, and everyone gets a distance-based travel allowance of €28 to €1,735, higher when travelling green. The grant combines with Belgian study allowances.

Enrolled at a Belgian higher-education institution holding an Erasmus charter — bachelor, master or doctorate, any nationality
Study mobility of 2 to 12 months per study cycle (traineeships have separate, higher rates)
Selection runs through your home institution's international office or faculty
